Meetings here and there!!!

Camillian Meeting in Rome

Twenty seven Camillians engaged in pastoral work in different parishes attended the international meeting last November 10 – 11 in Rome. The topic centered on the “Identity of the Camillian Parish in Service to Health”. The meeting took place at the Villa Primavera run by the Suore Ancelle dell’ Incarnazione. Being in-charge of the Filipino Community from the St. Camillus Parish and at the same time chaplain from the Ruhrlandklinik hospital in Essen, Fr. Manny Tamayo represented the German Province. There he met also the two participating Filipino confreres, Fr. Robert Chua and Fr. Meng Barawid, from the Philippine Province.

Provincial Meeting in Freiburg

The Camillians from the German Province scheduled a day of meeting last November 11 in Freiburg. Due to the distance of the venue, the participating confreres from Essen and Moenchengladbach came a day earlier (November 10) to avoid stress and to be on time for the meeting. Even confreres from Holland came over to attend. The participants left Freiburg a day after the meeting (November 12) heading back to their respective communities.

Camillian Provincials Meeting in Brazil

The German Provincial, Fr. Dietmar Weber, left last November 13 to attend the Provincials’ meeting in Brazil scheduled to start on November 17.  He is expected to be back in Germany on November 22.
