Pastoral Visit and Provincial Meeting

Bro. Luca and Fr. Babychan from Rome came to Germany last May for a pastoral visit and joined the provincial meeting of the German Province held in Freiburg. They visited the communities in Mönchengladbach, Essen, Freiburg, including Roermond. They took the chance to have individual conversations with each religious of the Province.

Bro. Cabogs in Freiburg

After successfully passing his written and oral exams in Greek last April, Bro. Eusebio Cabonegro took a break, visited the city of Berlin and stayed a couple of days with the Polish Camillians who are doing their apostolate in this famous capital city of Germany. During Easter, he stayed with his community in Freiburg. Then he went to Paris together with a priest and professor who is now the dean of studies of the department of forestry at the Visayas State University in Baybay, Leyte.

Filipino Artists in Essen

Five young Filipino artists from the Philippines, Jojo Austria, Emmanuel Santos, Robert Fernandez, Marcial Pontillas and Sam Penaso, came to Essen last May 25 for the exhibition of their visual arts and paintings. Fr. Dietmar Weber and Mr. Virgilio Cuizon organized the program. Some of their masterpieces are still displayed on the corridor of Kamillushaus for viewing and for sale.
